Nutrition Counselling
for Individuals & Groups
I provide individual counselling and group education for clients who are seeking support and guidance in developing the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to improve and maintain health and well-being. Group education covers different topics for people living with chronic illness &/or for those interested in balanced, sustainable eating patterns.

Individual Nutrition Counselling
- $150 for 60 minutes
- Fees for virtual counselling are the same as in-person
- Longer or shorter sessions will be pro-rated
- Most health insurance companies cover services provided by a registered dietitian
- Direct billing provided where applicable
Group Education & Workshops
- Pricing varies for group sessions & workshops.

Nutrition Workshops
Exploring the Food-Mood Connection & Mindful Eating
This 4-week workshop will provide an exploration of how our thoughts and emotions are connected to our eating behaviours.
Learn new skills and strategies on how you can live and cope in a challenging world that places so much emphasis on weight & shape.

Living Well with Chronic Illness
Living with a chronic illness doesn't mean you can't enjoy the foods you want. This 2-day workshop will allow for an open, non-judgemental discussion around food and eating. Participants have the opportunity to explore their relationship with food and learn ways to be more at peace with food.

Graceful Living - Nutrition for Health & Wellness
This 4-week online workshop is for people in their mid- to late-stage of life. Sessions will cover key areas of nutrition known to contribute to health improvements and greater quality of life. More details to follow. Check back later.

Women's Health - Before, During and After Menopause
This 5-week online workshop will provide you with key nutrition information to help support you during this transitional stage of life, and beyond.
Each session is 60 minutes and includes a 50-minute one-on-one consultation with Maria where your specific concerns will be addressed.
You will gain a better understanding of the changes in your body, and the confidence to know how you can best support your body and overall well-being.

Body Awareness & Movement Classes

What you can expect from my classes
All are welcome to join me in a virtual class.
I aim to create a safe space where everyone, regardless of age, body shape or size, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or ability can practice collectively.
In my classes, you are accepted just as you are! You can expect individual attention and a guided practice that is tailored to your needs and abilities. Additionally, I provide new and different ways for you to develop and enhance a deeper awareness and appreciation of your body and what it can do for you.
Whether you’re looking to improve your balance, posture, increase flexibility, build strength and gain greater mobility, or simply wish to connect with others, I will work with you to improve health and wellness.
What I Offer

Virtual Body Movement Classes
I guide people through a practice that is safe, mindful, without judgement, and leaves you feeling limber, relaxed, and empowered.
My classes always include breath work, and have a gentle start that gradually builds. Each session focuses on a different area of the body and incorporates a combination of any of the following core components: balance, posture, flexibility & strength building.
Private individual/couples, small groups (3 to 8), as well as corporate classes and workshops are available whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a while. Everyone benefits from moving their body!
