Maria teaches a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga style classes, and offers something different every time. Maria’s classes are open to all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Whether you are trying yoga for the first time, or are a seasoned yogi, all are welcome. Maria recognizes that how you feel each day can change. You are always encouraged to move at your own pace.
Hatha style yoga
Postures included in this style of yoga focus on alignment and are designed to build strength and promote flexibility. Sessions often begin and end with a brief guided meditation, focusing on the breath. You can expect postures that encourage ease of movement, and at the same time feel challenged.
Vinyasa style yoga
Vinyasa yoga is similar to a flow class where a set of postures are included to move from one to another, seamlessly, while using the breath. A variety of postures are included from one class to the next, making every class different every time.
